David Dycus: (composer, booklet commentary)
My first attempt at a dubstep song, from my ill-conceived dubstep phase. It took a ton of time, an entire new drum pack, and ultimately, a new laptop to finish. It's not my favorite song I've ever made--it doesn't sound like a real dubstep song, in my opinion--but I learned a lot in the process of making it.

I HOPE YOU LIKE GAMEGRL
Does this look familiar? It should because this is the new and improved, revamped version of some art for a track that didn't quite make it onto LOFAM2! What was once the art for Stalemate is now the art for Dogfight (Dirtiest's Dubstep Remix), which will soon be on LOFAM3, and I'm glad to announce that it didn't cause me nearly as much pain and suffering as it originally did. Upscaling to 300dpi was a bit of an issue but in the grand scheme of things this version was a lot less painful to do than its low-res counterpart.
Wings, especially feathered ones, are still a very deep circle of art hell, though. I love them but they're a pain.
The GameGRL assets were originally made by the incredible Tavia Morra, who got a kick out of seeing what I did with them.
This isn't my best work per se since it's a reworking of something I did months ago but I'm pretty satisfied with how the reworked version turned out nonetheless. This actually wasn't intended for LOFAM3 originally and I started reworking it in November last year so I could potentially submit it (without GameGRL) to the What Pumpkin print store, but it hasn't been open for submissions in a long time so I put this on hold until work on LOFAM3 had started.

Lunise's artwork (sans GameGrl collage) was originally illustrated for Stalemate, which had been slated for Land of Fans and Music 2 at the time. (Sburban Genesis, also composed by Lark Mordancy, ended up on the album instead.)
