Bane in Blood (Synth Cover) Listen on: Bandcamp
autumnalEquinox ✑ Bandcamp about blurb
I did this because I wanted to be like King Gizzard and make a synth version of one of my metal tracks and turned it into an EDM track.
Eidolon (Synth Cover) Listen on: Bandcamp
autumnalEquinox ✑ Bandcamp about blurb
This is another synth version of a track but this time I used a VST called Cardinal. It's a modular synth emulator that has a bunch of different modules you can use. This was just me messing out in it and improvising certain things. Anyway this track uses the guitar part right before the rhythm guitar solo as a basis.
Prog 322 Listen on: Bandcamp
autumnalEquinox ✑ Bandcamp about blurb
This is the prog metal track I did before Eidolon and it uses the curtain call motif. I wasn't really proud of the final product so I never used it.
Bane in Blood [Demo] Listen on: Bandcamp
autumnalEquinox ✑ Bandcamp about blurb
Very first complete version of Bane in Blood. You may notice the Raining Blood sample at the end of the song, this was when i wanted to lean more heavily into the very clear influence that song had on this song. Either way, I ended up ditched it because it felt out of place.
Racren Nu-Metal Idea Listen on: Bandcamp
autumnalEquinox ✑ Bandcamp about blurb
This was back when I wanted to make a Nu-Metal song and I wanted to do something for Racren since he doesn't have too many songs. This never got finished because I lost the files to it sadly.
Eidolon First Test Listen on: Bandcamp
autumnalEquinox ✑ Bandcamp about blurb
This is one of the very first versions of Eidolon that I sent before I decided to make it so long. I just wanted to make something similar to Dream Theater.
Eidolon (Early Intro ver. 1) Listen on: Bandcamp
autumnalEquinox ✑ Bandcamp about blurb
This version has the first version of the intro thats very similar to In the Presence of Enemies by Dream Theater (the files for this song for the longest time were saved as "presence of enemies knockoff". You'll also probably notice that the part after the intro sounds much more dramatic than the final product.
Eidolon (Early Intro ver. 2) Listen on: Bandcamp
autumnalEquinox ✑ Bandcamp about blurb
This was another test for the intro and this one had a more energetic pattern on the piano but I ended up scraping it because it didn't flow into the next part right.
Eidolon (Ruler of a Broken World) [Draft 1] Listen on: Bandcamp
autumnalEquinox ✑ Bandcamp about blurb
This is the first draft of the third movement in Eidolon and I kind of forgot that I went straight into the slow part from the organ with nothing inbetween lol.
Eidolon (Initiate - Ruler of a Broken World) [UF] Listen on: Bandcamp
autumnalEquinox ✑ Bandcamp about blurb
This is just the first three movements of Eidolon that I had at the time, you'll notice a very different "Incognizable" section and a bunch of tiny differences throughout.
Minimum Brain Size (Ellsee Mix) Listen on: Bandcamp
autumnalEquinox ✑ Bandcamp about blurb
"I wanted to make something microtonal for VE for the longest time (and I still do!) but there are little to no VSTs that let you do it easily. Anyway this samples a king gizzard song (of course) and I wanted this to be for ellsee since it sounded danceable.
Half the Journey [Demo] Listen on: Bandcamp
autumnalEquinox ✑ Bandcamp about blurb
First version of Half the Journey where it sounds similar to how the final sounded. Not much to say just a little bit rougher than the final.
Mox Nox [UF] Listen on: Bandcamp
autumnalEquinox ✑ Bandcamp about blurb
This was a song that I made because I wanted to expand on the Mox Nox section of Eidolon since I liked the idea I had there. But I didn't know where to go with this so I stopped working on it.
VE Metal Test 1 Listen on: Bandcamp
autumnalEquinox ✑ Bandcamp about blurb
I made these two when I first bough Shreddage Argent because I wanted to try and find a cool idea to use for a VE song. Unfortunately these two didn't go anywhere until i eventually landed on an idea that i like (that you won't see for a while most likely).
-Afterburner- Listen on: Bandcamp
autumnalEquinox ✑ Bandcamp about blurb
I think rainy first gave me this idea so I wanted to try it. It's a stoner/doom metal track in the style of something Boris would do, and I think it's alright but I thought it was that good. Also, I would have released it but the song had nothing to do with the album that was coming out at the time (In Medias Res). By the time Vol. 6 crept around my skills with metal music were much better so I decided not to use it.
Refractions Through Unstained Glass [UF] Listen on: Bandcamp
bright0n ✑ Bandcamp about blurb
it's a combo of two ideas i did in december [2025]. i'm trying to go for a vaguely lofi tape-ish master but for that quick render i just slapped a lazy compressor preset on it and EQd the hi hats bc they were annoying me.
Something Good [Draft] Listen on: Bandcamp
Cerulean ✑ Bandcamp about blurb
Stuck unable to make music for the longest time, I got frustraited and wanted to make something.
Cognitive Dissonance [Beta] Listen on: Bandcamp
Rabooski ✑ Bandcamp about blurb
This is (obviously) unfinished and a very rough draft, BUT- I really, really want to finish it some day. I was thinking of Bedman from Guilty Gear and started to play around with sampling "Circle" from GG Strive. I am very proud of the title and the tone as I think I've done a good job of capturing some of Occeus's vibe (so far) . Fingers crossed- That's all :]
DEAD 2 RIGHTS!! (Take 1) [UF] Listen on: Bandcamp
The original demo for what would become DEAD 2 RIGHTS!! Intially I was gonna go in a more cascade-y direction but couldn't find my footing with it. If you wanna hear what a finished version sounds like listen to LEFT 2 DIE.
By My Blade (Justice Is Served) [Demo 1] Listen on: Bandcamp
The original piano sketch I wrote for By My Blade.
Go Beyond And Fight Further (Take 1) [UF] Listen on: Bandcamp
An scrapped idea for Go Beyond and Fight Further. Wound up retooling motifs from this into 'Occult Hymns' and Vigilante's Gambit.'
Deconstruction ~ Visions of a Future Untold (Original Loop) (MIDI Version) Listen on: Bandcamp
Original sketch of Deconstruction that I sent to Witch's Cadence to arrange. Used to help me arrange the song in PXTone.
Cure For What Ails You [Demo 1] Listen on: Bandcamp
Original Sketch for Cure For What Ails You.
Volcanic Viper (Take 1) [UF] Listen on: Bandcamp
The initial attempt at writing Volcanic Viper. Wound up re-working the riff into the track 'Riot-Act.'
Vigilante's Gambit Listen on: Bandcamp
I wrote this song as a theme for Necron using parts of an old draft of Go Beyond and Fight Further. Between the abundance of songs the guy has and the fact that I'm not quite fond of how it turned out, I decided to release it here. It was Inspired by "Hunter's Chance" by Nobou Uematsu.
Torchlight [Beta] Listen on: Bandcamp
This was a collab between me and Cerulean that fell through because of time constraints. Wound up having to finish Torchlight by myself for Vol. 5.
By My Blade (Justice Is Served) [Demo 2] Listen on: Bandcamp
dbnet's arrangement of my original piano sketch. More or less set the tone for the rest of how By My Blade would go.
By My Blade (Justice Is Served) [Demo 3] Listen on: Bandcamp
Further additions to the arrangements by Rainy. Added a new verse melody, strings and Shreddage guitar.
By My Blade (Justice Is Served) [Demo 4] Listen on: Bandcamp
Rainy's Sketch of the ending of By My Blade.
Cure For What Ails You [Demo 2] Listen on: Bandcamp
Additions by dbnet.
Cure For What Ails You [Demo 3] Listen on: Bandcamp
Complete composition by Rainy based on work in the previous demos. Final arrangement handled by dbnet for the final version.
Clarity Listen on: Bandcamp
Hypothetical Albion track that never went anywhere, was originally one of the first songs I ever wrote.
Two Sweeps Older (Original Draft) Listen on: Bandcamp
OG Draft of this song with a completely different B-Part that kind of ruined the whole thing IMO! So I got rid of it.
Gofuckyourself.wav (2019) Listen on: Bandcamp
Song I made for a group project for literature class. The project was making an artistic representation of a book we read for the class, none of my groupmates did anything, hence the name. I grabbed a random loop, edited it and its chord progression using Melodyne, and sang gibberish on it - along with the sentence ""aren't you glad its over""? Because I was! Since I was also into Air and Massive Attack at the time, I grabbed some random ambient pads, weird percussion and played with them. Decent results overall. I have no idea what I sampled at the end there, besides Flowey's laugh. Sorry. Regardless, this same loop later made its way onto Purple Hot Mess. Wow!
The book was George Orwell's 1984 by the way.
Indomitable (Epic Version) Listen on: Bandcamp
Don't even worry about it, bro.
Untitled Edolon Draft (corruptedcultist original demo) Listen on: Bandcamp
Much more Danganronpa inspired Edolon theme. Austinado requested one for the SBB route, he asked that it would be somewhat Masafumi Takada inspired, in the end though, I couldn't make much of this since it felt wrong for the character, so I went in a different direction. An Umineko zts direction.
Perfection [Draft 1] Listen on: Bandcamp
The very barebones original draft of the penultimate Vol 5] song. I wanted to make a simple motif that could be easily hummed and referenced, as well as one that reflected the horror in the panels at pages 1776-1780 (seriously the animation there is so good) I remember arriving at the harmony specifically through chopping up a Schonenberg piece? I don't remember which one, though...
I also always knew I wanted the song to end with ""Glimpses of Perfection"". That drone creates such an unbelivable feeling that leaves you in awe. The rest of the song is effectively buildup for that moment.
Perfection [Draft 2] Listen on: Bandcamp
Second, little less barebones version! It has a lot more of the recognizable elements which are present in the final version. But I still had my reservations with it. The song is supposed to be a slow build, but the reason I went with the full on Dubstep drop in the original is because this one felt a little too stale. This one is a track to get lost in, while I wanted Perfection to terrify you and catch you off guard.
This song was also super inspired by Bjork. Specifically the songs Hunter, Joga and Pluto, the production in those tracks are insane.
Successor To The Storm (Rom Ver.) Listen on: Bandcamp
A version I made of the song. Never got used for anything.
Halloween Album Intro - Melody Ideas Listen on: Bandcamp
I was debating between referencing the TSO motif and just doing an original motif for this one. We ended up deciding on the first option - which is why the track is called 'Two Spooks Older'!
MESSAGE FROM THE SECT Listen on: Bandcamp
Theme I composed for my brief Cameo as Edolon in Vast Error's 13th Anniversary Charity Stream. Tried to extend this a couple of times but nothing felt right. Still like it though! really like how it uses the corruptedcultist motif.
Unused Racren Track Listen on: Bandcamp
Was gonna develop this into a more Metal idea, but never did it and I'm probably never going to. Also this includes the Too Slow motif for, some, reason????
Dismas [Draft] Listen on: Bandcamp
First draft of the Dismas song I made for Vol 6, made this after Vol. 5's release originally but couldn't really figure it out for a while. Adding acoustic drums was what made it work, who knew!
"IM ON FIRE AAAA" (2020) Listen on: Bandcamp
First or second ever track I made in Ableton! I also made it on my birthday (: ended up becoming "Whiplash [Pass the Yaoi]" on Vol 6!
MurritFlow Listen on: Bandcamp
I sure did make this! Apparently! I have no recollection of doing so!
Scathing Sharper Listen on: Bandcamp
Scathing Sharper potential battle theme, ended up shelving this. But I did use parts of it for something completely different - www.youtube.com/watch?v=cgKjYK87Kzc
I do like that Ballad of Jack Noir section though...
Too Slow (2017) Listen on: Bandcamp
Made with default FL Studio Presets for a webshow that never got made where Sonic.exe was one of the main villains! Always thought this had potential. Theres an even earlier version but I can't find it, sadly ):
Too Slow (2019) Listen on: Bandcamp
There was a potential revival of the previously mentioned webshow, but that stopped being relevant in like, two weeks! In those two weeks however - I managed to write another version of this song! Cool to see how much I improved in two years (:
Too Slow (2023) [Draft] Listen on: Bandcamp
Was shocked at how well this main synth fit Aumtzi. From that draft it was pretty smooth sailing.
(: Listen on: Bandcamp
To be honest: I really hate this one. Its such a pretentious song I made after wanting to make a Godspeed You! Type track. Its vapid and empty. Hated it back then, hate it now. Very glad it died. I chopped it up and made it into Sillygoofysillygoofy - which was pretty much done first draft.
Freakshow (Carnage Carnival First Draft) Listen on: Bandcamp
Its a bit slower and the drums are much worse, but this was the first thing that popped to my mind when I thought about making a Pozzol track. Named after the Danny Phantom villain, but the reason I changed the name is because I'm using this name for a completely different song now. After figuring out a better drumbeat and speeding the track along, this was one of the easiest tracks to finish. Its still one of my favorites.
Turncoat [Draft] Listen on: Bandcamp
This one had a different, more ragged beat - very glad I went in a different direction with that one. This was the last track conceptualized for the album, since I was spoiled on the reveal relatively close to its reveal. I knew I had to make a Tigran Hamasyan-esc track immediately though. And I REALLLY Wanted to sample Samsara.
Professor Madness (Cognito Hazard First Draft) Listen on: Bandcamp
If anyone realizes why this is the title, sorry. Happy I pretty much completely remade this though.
MELTDOWN [Draft] Listen on: Bandcamp
This is an early working mix of the instrumental for "MELTDOWN" featuring Ucklin from In Medias Res. Internally it was referred to as "Spent Fuel" at first, but eventually we settled on "MELTDOWN" as the title. Even though it was not long ago, there are definitely things I would change if I were to redo the track, but we live and we learn! Hope you enjoy the instrumental version :D
fuck u peepee theme Listen on: Bandcamp
Made live on the Vast Error 15th anniversary stream.
