Jebb ✑ Bandcamp about blurb

Every track i have made for the ex-MSPFA webcomic Aleph Null (from 2021 to 2023), including 4 never before seen tracks from the vault, finished for this album (5-8)!

Again, big thanks to Adrian Wahrer for the great album art!

As you can see, i wanted to make something grand for the trailer, and a orchestral-cyberpunkish remix of the main theme of the comic seemed appropriate.

I also used some motifs from other characters, timed to when they appear. Speaking of timing, making the timing right for all of the moments was quite difficult - probably the hardest part of the project. The hardest probably was the little part of sound design i decided to do when the logo gets constructed.

Sauron's theme! Yes.

As i mentioned in a previous commentary, this was actually based on the first track i did for Aleph Null (specifically its FNF mod) which was Rusted.

Hope you enjoy!

Rising Suns Escucha en: Bandcamp

Finally got a chance to make a track for a flash! I decided to do a sort of laid back but constantly moving forward melody, like "we aren't in that much of a rush but we need to do this until then" which fits the vibe of the timeskip imo.

Also, only now did i realize that there's only one sun in the flash and it's the moons which are doubled. Whoops.

Last Resort Escucha en: Bandcamp

Piece made for a fight scene flash, taking place in a hotel (thus the name, Last Resort, hah).

For this track i wanted to flex my skills and attempt to make a Carpenter Brut-esque tune. A big reason why it ended up sounding so meaty is thanks to the mastering advice of Adrian "gravitygauntlet" Wahrer, who also made the art for this album! The same advice also ended up helping with my second attempt at a Brut sound, that being the CORE [BRUTALIZED] remix.

The main riff is very much inspired by the melody of the Hotline Miami track "Hydrogen", made by M O O N.

Funnily enough, the name of this track ended up being very prophetic, since it's the last track i made for the webcomic before it got taken down from mspfa and i left the team. It didn't even have an official release anywhere beyond the flash itself - until now!

Sticks Escucha en: Bandcamp

"Sticks" is a track that i cobbled together for fun after reading the Aleph Null minicomic, titled "Sticks and Stones". It featured small Sauron, so i made a small Sauron theme. That's about it really.

This track is like a lullaby, reminiscing about old times. Where did the good times go? Back when we were small Sauron? Ah, memories.

Initially i intended this track to have Friday Night Funkin vocals and be an fnf remix of the original "W.A.R.D." track made by FOUNDDEADINLA, with the vocals replacing the instruments. However, while working on this album i figured that would be too simple and boring, thus i made this a regular, non-fnf remix.

With the original track being more of a heavy electronic track, this is quicker and more metal-oriented.

This was my take at making a WARD theme. With FOUNDDEADINLA's track having a much more aggressive sound, i wanted to make a WARD track that was more sombre and introspective.

Business Disputes Escucha en: Bandcamp

My take on a theme for the comic antagonist Tyrell, a violetblood CEO, who we... well, didn't know much about prior to the comic's end, so this might be a very loose interpretation.

Fun fact - the original track that i built on was the part from 0:00 to 0:47 - i REALLY did not have much to build on! But hey, i managed. The end result is a symphonic/cyberpunk-ish villain theme, fitting for a futuristic CEO.
