Or, how not to vary tempo.

Very experimental indeed, this piece varies tempo more than actual variation. The first part is sort of regular, the second, equal in composition but entirely unrecognizable, has a BPM swinging wildly between 10 and 800. Not kidding. Nominally: 320.
