RJ gave me the reins on this one. At first I was drawing it in the same style as a later track (Before the Beginning and After the End) I did art for, but then it quickly turned in to a painting. This palette in particular was fun and challenging to work with. I'm happy with the end result, since it looks like the Batterwitch is cackling as the world burns down around her.

i love ugly betty, your song for homestuck volume 9! were you inspired by crystal castles?

If you're referring to the song for Ugly Betty I didn't write it. RJ did.

However, if you're referring to the picture then thank you! I had a ton of fun doing it. I wasn't inspired by anything specific other than a very strong color palette of purples and oranges and pinks that I had picked out well before starting the drawing process.
