Canned Corner: Knights In Two Dreams

Yep kids it’s another canned corner! I still have tonnes of HS most folk have never heard (Including the other 2 tracks that were submitted alongside Showtime as a potential first boss theme), so let’s carry on with this one.

I tried, oh lord I tried, a few different Karkat vs Dave tracks, one for the ridiculous willy-drawing escapade that happened and a more general, sulky teen-drama grumblebumf that you can now have a listen to. Neither made the cut (The other one - “Royal Rumble” will be released in its entirety later, but I should warn you its very unfinished :p which is the main reason It never made it to an album)

So yes, Knights In Two Dreams. Hilarious bad pun aside, it’s primarily a modified version of Karkat’s theme, with a bridge of Virgin Orb (for no real explicable reason, which is one of the reasons I kinda binned this one). It’s loosely based on a track I made before this which was a sort of Chrono-Trigger-ish version of the same idea. In a way, this guy’s a sequel to that.

The only original bit comes at the end (2:36), which is a little melody I kinda like. If amma salvage anything from this, it’ll be that bit. Maybe I’ll use it in the game I’m workin’ on? Who knows.
